Delete your Invitra data

Last updated 14 July 2026

You can delete your account, a single event, or just your own RSVP. Pick the route below that matches your situation.

Whichever route you take, your data is removed from Invitra within 30 days. No forms to chase, no retention offers, no fee.

1. Delete your account (hosts)

This is the complete erase. If you have an Invitra account and you want everything gone, use this one.

  1. Log in to Invitra at invitra.space.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

What this removes:

  • Your account and your sign-in method, including a linked Google or Facebook login.
  • Every event you created, and every invitation page for them.
  • Every guest list, RSVP, guest count and guest message on those events.
  • Every photo in your galleries — yours and the ones your guests uploaded.
  • Your uploaded cover images and event media.

Timing: your account and events come down from the live service straight away. Everything is purged from our database, file storage and backup rotation within 30 days.

This cannot be undone. If you want to keep a record of who came, export your RSVPs from the event’s Guests tab before you delete.

2. Delete a single event

If you want one event gone but want to keep your account and your other events:

  1. Log in and open the event from your dashboard.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Choose Delete event and confirm.

This removes that event’s invitation page, its guest list, all RSVPs and messages, and every gallery photo attached to it. Purged within 30 days. Your account and your other events are untouched.

3. Guests — remove your RSVP or your photos

Guests never create an Invitra account, so there is nothing for you to log in to. Email us instead and we will do it for you.

Email

invitra.space@outlook.com

Please include

  • The link to the invitation you responded to, so we can find the right event.
  • The name you RSVP’d with, so we can find the right entry.
  • What you want removed — your RSVP, your message, your photos, or all of it.

We will remove it within 30 days and email you when it is done. If two guests share a name we may ask you one clarifying question. We will not ask you to prove who you are with a document.

One honest caveat: the host of the event can also remove your entry themselves, and may already have their own copy of your response — an export they downloaded, for instance. We can only delete what is inside Invitra. For anything the host holds elsewhere, ask the host.

4. If you signed up with Facebook

There are two separate things here, and you probably want both. Removing the app on Facebook and deleting your Invitra data are not the same action.

Remove Invitra from your Facebook account

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy Settings.
  2. Select Apps and Websites in the left sidebar.
  3. Find Invitra in your list of active apps.
  4. Select Remove, then confirm.

That revokes our access to your Facebook profile and stops you signing in to Invitra with Facebook in future.

Removing the app on Facebook does not delete the data we already hold. Your Invitra account, events, guest lists and photos stay exactly where they are until you follow step 1 above or email us. If you want everything gone, do both.

What we had from Facebook in the first place: only your public profile — your name and profile picture — and your email address. We never requested your friends, your posts, or permission to publish anything, and we never posted to your account. When your Invitra account is deleted, that goes with it.

What “within 30 days” actually means

Whichever route you use, the same thing happens:

  • Immediately — the data stops being served. Your events, invitation pages and photos come down and stop resolving for anyone who has the link.
  • Within 30 days — the records are purged from our database and file storage, and rotate out of our encrypted backups.
  • Afterwards — we may keep a minimal note that a deletion happened, plus anything the law requires us to retain. That never includes your guest list, your messages, or your photos.

The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Still stuck?

Email invitra.space@outlook.com and a human will answer. Tell us what you are trying to delete and we will take care of it.
